** CLOSURE NOTICE ** Town of Zebulon offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day. Community Center: The Zebulon Community Center will be closed on New Year’s Day. Solid Waste Services: Bulk waste will be collected by the Town on Friday. Please place materials at the curb by Thursday evening. Due to the New Year’s Day holiday, GFL will collect household trash on Saturday, Jan. 3. Please place your trash cart at the curb by Friday night. Police and Fire Services: Zebulon police and fire departments will remain fully staffed and operational throughout the holiday. For emergencies, dial 911. Water and Sewer Services: Water and sewer services for the Town of Zebulon are managed by the City of Raleigh. For water or sewer issues, contact Raleigh Water Customer Service at 919-996-3245. The Town of Zebulon’s Board of Commissioners awarded a $2,000 Non-Profit Grant to Operation Restoration Inc. as one of seven local non-profit organizations that recently received funding through the Town’s 2025 Non-Profit Grant Program. The organization received this grant because its work aligns with our community’s values, and we are excited to support the positive impact it continues to make. “The funds that we receive help the elderly and disabled with meals for Thanksgiving, and it helps with necessities such as washing powder, night clothes and other items needed after other funds are exhausted,” said CEO Tamara Harrison of Operation Restoration Inc. ⏰ Applications are now open for the Town of Zebulon’s 2026 Non-Profit Grant Program. Did you see the news? 👀 A Zebulon-based company is receiving a major investment from the State of North Carolina to support growth and job creation and it marks a milestone for Wake County. TNT 3D Construction has been awarded a $300,000 Building Reuse Grant to support the reuse of a 105,800-square-foot facility in Zebulon. This award is the first Building Reuse grant Wake County has received. The funding was approved by the Rural Infrastructure Authority and announced by Governor Josh Stein. The project is expected to ~ Create 36 new jobs over the next 18 months ~ Grow to 60 full-time jobs within 36 months ~ Leverage $720,588 in private investment ~ Advance 3D concrete printing and sustainable building solutions Mayor Jessica Harrison highlighted the importance of strong partnerships with the state and Wake County in attracting innovative employers to Zebulon. TNT 3D Construction is focused on modern construction technology that delivers housing faster, more affordably, and with reduced environmental impact, while creating long-term career opportunities in advanced manufacturing and construction technology. Mayor Jessica Harrison has been appointed chair of the National League of Cities’ 2026 Race, Equity and Leadership (REAL) Council. In this one-year role, she will help guide programs and collaboration among local elected officials from communities with similar demographics, size and geographic characteristics. The REAL Council brings together leaders from across the country to develop resources, share innovative ideas and advance equitable solutions that help cities, towns and villages thrive.
