About Zebulon

Zebulon is located in eastern Wake County and has a population of approximately 4,624. The Town is situated along US Highways 64 and 264 and is only 20 miles from downtown Raleigh and Interstate 95.

Incorporated on February 16, 1907, Zebulon was named after Zebulon B. Vance, the governor of North Carolina during the Civil War. Since that time, Zebulon has grown into a full service town that offers a high quality of life for its citizens. Zebulon offers its citizens and business community a reasonable tax rate, numerous leisure opportunities, and top notch fire and police protection.

Zebulon is an attractive place to live, work and play, and offers a variety of attractive jobs with companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Nomacorc and US Foods. With a great road system and being just 15 minutes from Raleigh and 40 minutes from the Research Triangle Park businesses will find all they need when searching for a great community to locate.

Zebulon provides first class recreation and leisure opportunities with six municipal parks and a community center; and of course is home to the Carolina Mudcats. The Mudcats are a minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.
