There will be a meeting of the Downtown Overlay District study committee the first Thursday of each month at 7:00pm in the Zebulon Council Chambers.

The Zebulon Public Works Department is accepting requests for free double-shredded mulch delivery. We also have limited quantities of leaf mulch. Delivery will begin March 6, 2012 on a first come, first serve basis as quantities are limited. It is not necessary for anyone to be home to accept delivery. To sign up, you may complete a waiver located on our website at www.townofzebulon.org and fax it to 269-2617. A waiver can also be obtained at the Public Works facility at 450 E. Horton Street or the Finance Department at Town Hall, 1003 N. Arendell Avenue, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Call (919) 269-5285 if you have any questions.

Fire Chief Sidney Perry and Police Chief Timothy Hayworth were recognized by the Zebulon Board of Commissioners at the February 6, 2012 meeting.
Chief Perry was awarded the North Carolina Fire Chief of the Year award at their banquet February 4, 2012 and Chief Hayworth was sworn in as President of the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police at it's annual conference on January 24, 2012.
We are very honored and proud of these men for their accomplishments and dedication to their chosen professions.
