FREE Family Movie Night

FREE Family Movie Night returns to the Zebulon Community Center on Friday, December 14. This month we are showing the Christmas Classic "The Santa Clause". The doors will open at 6:30pm and the movie will start at 7:00pm. As always, we will have FREE popcorn and bottled water for everyone. 

Zebulon Championship Disc Golf Course

This beautiful 18 hole championship course is located at Zebulon Community Park (401 S. Arendell Ave, Zebulon). The course is open from sun up to sun down, seven days a week. Concrete tee pads and hole layout signage await you on every hole. 


Join Hanshi, Charles Mann, a 9th degree Black Belt for our very popular Karate program. Charles has been the instructor for this traditional Okinawan Karate for over 30 years. This particular style of karate teaches students of all ages the techniques of Kobubo/Weapon and tournament style fighting. Parents and children are welcome to take this class together. Classes are offered year round on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:00pm at the Zebulon Community Center. Cost is $40/month for residents and $50/non-residents. 

Chair Yoga For Seniors (Returns in September)

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting in a chair or standing, using the chair for support. The FREE program is offered on Tuesday mornings from 9:00am - 10:00am at the Zebulon Community Center. 

Thanksgiving Soup & Sandwich Lunch

Join us on Tuesday, November 20 as we celebrate the approaching Thanksgiving holiday with a tasty lunch. Pre registration is required by the deadline of November 16. 

Time: 12:00 noon - 1:30pm

Fee: $3 per person

Wreath Making Class 

Join instructor Gina Bryant for a fun and festive Christmas Wreath Making Class. All wreath making materials and a bow are included in your $10 registration fee. Pre registration is required by November 20.

Program Date: Thursday, November 29 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Ages: Adults age 18 and up

Fee: $10 per person

Pictures With Santa (FREE)

Santa is taking a break from toy making to visit with the children of Zebulon. Come get your free photograph with Santa, courtesy of Kent Massey Photography. Pictures will be taken on Friday, November 30 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Zebulon Municipal Complex (1003 N. Arendell Ave).

Cookie Swap Party (FREE)

It's the time of year when the best cookies are made so why not meet up with friends to share and trade? Bring 4 dozen cookies and your recipe to share with others. Don't forget a container to take home all of the fabulous samples. Program is FREE but pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is Friday, November 30. Program date is Thursday, December 6 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Community Center.

Deck The Halls Senior Christmas Breakfast

Celebrate Christmas with some holiday music and a performance by the children from Zebulon Elementary School. This year's breakfast will take place on Friday, December 4. Pre registration is required by the deadline of December 4. 

Time: 9:30am - 11:00am

Fee: $3 per person

Hill Ridge Farms Day Trip

Celebrate the Christmas season with a magical tour of the Hill Ridge Farms Festival of Lights. Take a covered wagon hayride through the acres of beautiful lights and meander through the old fashioned candy toy and candy store. Limited Space. 

Trip Date: Tuesday, December 18 (Depart from Community Center at 4:00pm)

Ages: Adults 18 and up

Fee: $20 per person (includes van ride and admission to the Festival of Lights).

Crafty New Years Countdown

Let's celebrate the New Year with crafts, games, and crazy fun. It all ends with a special countdown and toast as we celebrate the year that was 2018 and look forward to 2019. Registration deadline in December 21.

Program Date: Friday, December 28 from 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Ages: 7 -12 years old

Fee: $15 Residents     $20 Non Residents
