** CLOSURE NOTICE ** Town of Zebulon offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day. Community Center: The Zebulon Community Center will be closed on New Year’s Day. Solid Waste Services: Bulk waste will be collected by the Town on Friday. Please place materials at the curb by Thursday evening. Due to the New Year’s Day holiday, GFL will collect household trash on Saturday, Jan. 3. Please place your trash cart at the curb by Friday night. Police and Fire Services: Zebulon police and fire departments will remain fully staffed and operational throughout the holiday. For emergencies, dial 911. Water and Sewer Services: Water and sewer services for the Town of Zebulon are managed by the City of Raleigh. For water or sewer issues, contact Raleigh Water Customer Service at 919-996-3245. The Town of Zebulon’s Board of Commissioners awarded a $2,000 Non-Profit Grant to Operation Restoration Inc. as one of seven local non-profit organizations that recently received funding through the Town’s 2025 Non-Profit Grant Program. The organization received this grant because its work aligns with our community’s values, and we are excited to support the positive impact it continues to make. “The funds that we receive help the elderly and disabled with meals for Thanksgiving, and it helps with necessities such as washing powder, night clothes and other items needed after other funds are exhausted,” said CEO Tamara Harrison of Operation Restoration Inc. ⏰ Applications are now open for the Town of Zebulon’s 2026 Non-Profit Grant Program.
