Zebulon, N.C. (Tues., Feb. 3, 2026) — The Zebulon Police Department is investigating a reported bank robbery that occurred this morning at First Citizens Bank 101 Wakelon Street Zebulon, NC.
At approximately 9:04 a.m., a robbery was reported at the bank. The Zebulon Police Department received the initial call at 9:07 a.m., and officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Preliminary information indicates an individual entered the bank, threatened a teller, and demanded money. No injuries to bank employees, customers, or responding officers have been reported.
The individual left the location prior to officers’ arrival. The suspect is believed to have fled the area in a dark-colored Nissan Altima. This information is preliminary and part of an ongoing investigation.
