West Vance Street in Downtown Zebulon is closed between Arendell Avenue and North Church Street now through 10 p.m. tonight, Friday, September 18, for Rock the Block.
Drivers should plan to use an alternate route when traveling through Downtown Zebulon. Please use caution and watch for pedestrians in the area.

🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY | S. WAKEFIELD STREET

Raleigh Water’s Water Distribution Division is responding to a water main break at 102 S. Wakefield St. in Zebulon. Work is expected to be completed by approximately 3 p.m. today.

No water service interruption is anticipated at this time.

S. Wakefield Street will be closed at the work site, and a detour will be in place:

• Northbound traffic on Wakefield Street: Turn onto W. Vance Street, then N. Church Street, then W. Horton Street.

• Southbound traffic on Wakefield Street: Turn onto W. Horton Street, then N. Church Street, then W. Vance Street.

Appropriate traffic and detour signage will be in place throughout the work.

Please use caution in the area and allow extra time for travel.

📍 The emergency-location sign identifies an exact spot on the trail. The three words printed on the sign are the what3words address for that specific location. If you need emergency assistance near the sign, call 911 and read those three words to the telecommunicator.

If you move away from the sign, your location’s what3words address will change. Open the Wander app to find the three words for your current location and share them with 911.

Social District beverages must remain within the designated Downtown Zebulon Social District boundaries. Social District beverages must be in an approved Social District cup and properly labeled by a participating business. Look for the district map and posted signs while downtown. When you see an ‘Exiting the Social District’ sign, all alcoholic beverages must be consumed or properly disposed of before continuing beyond that point. You must be 21 or older. How can you tell if a beverage is approved for the Downtown Zebulon Social District?

Look for the official Social District sticker on the cup. The sticker identifies where the beverage was purchased and the date it was sold.

Only alcoholic beverages purchased from a participating ABC-permitted business and served in an approved Social District cup may be carried within the district.

You must be 21 or older. Please drink responsibly.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY City of Raleigh crews will be making sewer repairs on E Sycamore Street between N Gill Street and N Whitley Street on Monday, August 31, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drivers should expect delays, follow posted detour signs and use caution near the work zone. Work is weather permitting. No water or sewer service interruptions are expected.
