Captain Howard and Patrol Officer Garcia were proud to take part in Read Across America by spending time with students at East Wake Academy’s Elementary School today. They joined fellow Town of Zebulon employees to read with students and help celebrate a love of learning.

Connecting with our local schools is an important part of community policing. Opportunities like this allow our officers to build positive relationships with students while encouraging literacy and lifelong learning.

Thank you to East Wake Academy for welcoming the Zebulon Police Department into your classrooms. We look forward to visiting again soon.
