The Town of Zebulon participated in Wednesday's Triangle Community Coalition Breakfast at Norse Brewing Longhouse.

Planning Director Matt Lower presented on Zebulon's growth, housing demand, economic development opportunities and the Town's efforts to channel growth into high-quality places, a stronger housing mix and long-term community and economic value. He also discussed infrastructure investments, housing strategies and small area planning initiatives that will help guide future growth.

Thank you to the Triangle Community Coalition for bringing together leaders from across the region to discuss growth, housing and economic development.

Join us Thursday, June 18, for the kickoff of the new Mt. Zion Play Space summer program at 405 E. Stronach Ave.!

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Zebulon Parks & Recreation will be onsite with Recreation on the Go activities, games, and opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends.

☀️ Summer Meals Are Back! Yesterday, families gathered at Wakefield Missionary Baptist Church to kick off the SUN Meals program, enjoying free meals, games, crafts, face painting, and a visit from Ray, the SUN Meals mascot. The Zebulon Police Department’s CARE Unit was onsite sharing resources, while Zebulon Fire Department’s C Shift brought a fire engine for children to explore. SUN Meals is a USDA summer nutrition program that provides free, healthy meals to children and teens 18 and under while school is out for the summer, helping ensure young people have access to nutritious food when school meals are unavailable. The Mayor's Youth Council was established to provide young leaders with meaningful opportunities to learn about local government, develop leadership skills, and actively contribute to the future of our community.

🎆 BIG NEWS, ZEBULON! ⚾ The Town of Zebulon, in partnership with the Zebulon Devil Dogz, is excited to announce an Independence Weekend Fireworks Show on Sunday, July 5 at Nomaco Park! The Devil Dogz game will now begin at 6 p.m., with fireworks immediately following the game. The stadium will also open to the public later in the evening for those who would like to come enjoy the fireworks show from inside Nomaco Park. Bring the family out for a night of baseball, community and fireworks as we celebrate Independence Weekend together.
