Now Accepting Vendors & Food Trucks for Juneteenth 2026

Join us Saturday, June 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Zebulon Devil Dogz Stadium.

We’re now accepting vendors and food trucks.

Fees:
Vendors: $10 single event | $25 commercial | no fee for nonprofits https://zebulon.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=1801

Space is limited. Local preference applies.

Food trucks must complete the Food Truck Interest Form. All other vendors must complete the Vendor Application.

Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. Selected vendors will receive next steps by email.

Traffic Advisory Update The gas leak on Horton Street has been contained. The road will remain closed between Naomi Drive and Whitley Street for the next few hours while crews continue work in the area. There is no harm to the public at this time. We will provide an update once the road has reopened.

Traffic Advisory Horton Street is closed between Naomi Drive and Whitley Street due to a gas line rupture. Fire crews are on scene working to secure the area. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

The Town of Zebulon was proud to partner with the Steel Magnolias Garden Club for this year’s annual plant sale. It was a huge success.

Despite the weather, this turned out to be the most successful plant sale they have ever had, with record-breaking sales and an incredible turnout. People came out to shop, connect, and support something that truly gives back to Zebulon.

Every dollar raised goes right back into the community, helping fund beautification projects that enhance public spaces, keep our town looking its best, and support a local scholarship.

We’re thankful for the Steel Magnolias Garden Club and their continued partnership, and for everyone who showed up and made the day so special.

Members of the Parks and Recreation and Communications teams planted a tulip poplar tree ahead of Saturday’s events due to the forecasted rain.

Due to the expected weather, the Tree Planting Ceremony on Saturday, May 2 will be held indoors at the Wakelon School Museum, located on the second floor of Town Hall. The event will begin at 11 a.m. as planned.

The program will include:

• Arbor Day information from Cory Sharp with the North Carolina Forest Service
• Reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation by Commissioner Shannon Baxter
• Presentation of the Tree City USA award to the Town of Zebulon

The Town of Zebulon, in partnership with the Steel Magnolias Garden Club, will also host a plant sale inside Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A bird demonstration will take place at 10 a.m.

From 5 to 25 years of service, these dedicated employees continue to show what it means to serve a growing community with commitment, care, and pride. Their work helps make Zebulon the Town of Friendly People every single day.

While not everyone recognized was able to attend or be photographed, we are grateful for each employee and their years of service to our community.

We had a great time at Spring Fest with everyone who came out. Thank you for being part of it.

The event ended a little early due to the much-needed rain, but we’re glad we had time together before it rolled in.

Last week 👇 Our Public Works crew took part in silica hazard training with the North Carolina Department of Labor. When you’re cutting concrete, there’s dust you can’t always see, and it matters. This training helps make sure our team knows how to handle it the right way. Hosted by our Safety Department, and all about keeping our people safe while they’re out doing the work every day.

This informal, small-group conversation creates a welcoming space for employees to share ideas and ask questions.
