Conditions in Zebulon remain cold and clear, with temperatures expected to drop overnight. While no power outages, road closures, or injuries have been reported, refreezing and black ice are likely, especially on hills, curves, bridges, and neighborhood roads.
Public Works crews have plowed and treated roads throughout the day, and Police and Fire continue monitoring conditions and responding as needed. Town Hall and Parks & Recreation facilities will remain closed Monday, and the Board of Commissioners meeting has been postponed.
Please stay off the roads if possible and allow crews and first responders the space they need to work safely. We will continue to share updates as conditions change.
