The Mayor’s Youth Council is a new leadership and civic engagement initiative designed to connect local youth with town government and community issues. Students will have opportunities to learn about local government, share ideas and help shape the future of Zebulon.

Students interested in leadership, community involvement and civic engagement are encouraged to apply and attend the upcoming interest meeting with parents or guardians.

Zebulon’s Juneteenth Celebration will take place June 18-20 and feature three days of events focused on celebrating culture, community and education, including an education night, downtown art walk and community concert at Nomaco Park.

🚨 Town of Zebulon offices will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The Zebulon Board of Commissioners will hold a special called meeting Tuesday, May 26, at 6 p.m. Town parks will remain open during the holiday weekend, except for any areas temporarily closed for maintenance or construction. Town offices will reopen Tuesday, May 26.

Our Public Works crews were out early this morning using the Town’s new JetVac truck to clear a clogged driveway culvert that had been causing flooding during heavy rain. This specialized equipment helps keep stormwater systems flowing properly and reduces roadway flooding during severe weather. We appreciate the hard work of our Public Works team as they continue working to keep Zebulon moving safely.
