Full Time -  This is a new position that will work closely with the Planning Department to ensure that all the required aspects of the construction process have been completed and meet Town specifications.  Diversity of background, ideas and methods of performing  duties is highly valued because it allows for improvement of how work is completed. Public Works specifically has a great family atmosphere that values the hard work and knowledge each employee brings to the organization. This positions is under the general supervision of Construction Inspections Supervisor. Being bilingual in Spanish would be beneficial but not required.

APPLY FOR CONSTRUCTION CLOSEOUT COORDINATOR 

 

Part-Time - The Town of Zebulon is seeking an energetic and creative person that wants to serve this community in an administrative role. The part-time Recreation Aide is the first point of contact at the Community Center, and therefore would need to possess amazing customer service skills. This position is an important part of the team that keeps things moving forward within the Parks Department. They will work on various projects, do research, participate in programs and have fun.  The Parks & Recreation Department values the input and ideas from their employees and wants to help them grow in their careers. Recreation Aides assist Parks and Recreation staff with daily operations of the Zebulon Community Center, community outreach programs, athletic programs, special events and overseeing facility rentals.  Recreation Aides are responsible for providing outstanding customer service when assisting the public using various communication methods.  Staff will need to be familiar with the facility, various sports and standard operating procedures.

Hourly Rate: $10.00 - $15.00

APPLY FOR RECREATION AIDE - PT

Part-Time -  The purpose of this position is to perform routine work such as locking and unlocking facilities for athletic practices and games; acting as first point of contact for the general public while at the facility, and scorekeeping for youth and adult sports leagues and tournaments. This position may also be required to assist with other Town programs and events, as needed. With six parks, a community center, multiple public spaces, and various athletic programs having great employees in the department is very important. Our staff takes pride in making sure that everyone that comes to our parks and participates in our programs has  a clean and beautiful place to enjoy passive and active recreation. 

Hourly Rate: $10.00 - $15.00
