Community Resources

There are a variety of community resources available to our residents beyond those provided by the Town of Zebulon. Zebulon is a wonderful place to live because of support and resources provided by a variety of community based organizations.

Empowered Citizens Supporting Youth and Families in Mental Health and Substance Use Services

Our community is dedicated to providing vital support for youth and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive services focused on prevention, education, and intervention for adults and youth ages 13-21, as well as their families and the broader community. We are committed to empowering youth, families, and communities to achieve a quality of life that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one counseling process in which a person works with a licensed mental health professional to address personal issues, emotional difficulties, or mental health concerns. It provides a safe, confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work toward emotional well-being.

Alternative Peer Group (APG)

APG is a supportive community for youth and young adults ages 13-21 who experience mental health and/or substance use challenges. The APG model combines recovery support with healthy social activities, offering a safe environment for individuals to connect with peers who are committed to healthy and positive life choices.

DWI Services

A specialized program designed to assist individuals who have been charged with or convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. These services are focused on education, intervention, and treatment to help individuals address substance use issues and meet legal requirements.
