Notice Of Public Hearing 

 

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Article 2.2.24 of the Town of Zebulon Unified Development Ordinance that a public hearing will be held on October 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Zebulon Municipal Complex, 1003 N. Arendell Avenue, and will be conducted by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Zebulon for the purpose of considering the following items:

 

IDT Project Number 823717 – 1324 Old US 264 Hwy.

PIN # 2715250636, 2715254652, & 2715256552. A request by Michael Birch on behalf of Brothers Parking and Storage, LLC & CCCRE Holdings, LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow an asphalt plant on a property zoned Heavy Industrial (HI).

 

If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to provide comments, the Town of Zebulon encourages that all public comments be submitted to Deputy Town Clerk Stacie Paratore at SParatore@TownofZebulon.org no later than 12:00 Noon on the day of the hearing to be read into the record. Notice of Public Hearing on October 10th - Text Amendments to the Town Of Zebulon Unified Development Ordinance

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Article 2.2.24 of the Town of Zebulon Unified Development Ordinance that a public hearing will be held on October 10, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Zebulon Municipal Complex, 1003 N. Arendell Avenue, and will be conducted by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Zebulon for the purpose of considering the following items:

 

Text Amendments to Sections 2.2, 2.3, 5.3, 5.7, 5.11, 6.3, 6.7, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.8, and 10.9 of the Town of Zebulon Unified Development Ordinance for the following:

  • Amend Legislative Approval Process to convert Joint Public Hearings to Public Hearing before the Board of Commissioners
  • Include the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board in the review process for Conditional Zoning and Planned Development requests
  • Increase Public Hearing Notification Mailings to 750-feet from a proposed development.
  • Establishment of regulations and standards for the inclusion of park features and potential credits towards the Parks and Recreation Impact Fee
  • Amend approval restrictions for the height maximums for Multi-Family Dwellings
  • Allow for ground signs in Industrial Districts
  • Modifications to section 10 to address discrepancies.
