Zebulon Police Department’s Citizens Academy

ZEBULON POLICE DEPARTMENT'S CITIZEN ACADEMY

Applications Now Open: Citizens Police Academy

The Zebulon Police Department is now accepting applications for its Citizens Police Academy.

This free, seven-week program offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing. Participants will learn about patrol operations, investigations, training standards, and community safety while meeting the men and women who serve our community. The academy also includes hands-on activities that provide first-hand experience of law enforcement in action.

The Citizens Police Academy is designed to help residents become better informed about public safety and to strengthen relationships between the community and the Zebulon Police Department.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, or a current high school student with required parental waivers. Space is limited, and participants may be subject to a background and driving record check.

Applications are available online and in person at the Zebulon Police Department.

The application deadline is January 23.

For more information, contact the Zebulon Police Department.
