Yard Waste Collection

Public Works collects yard waste and leaves biweekly from residential properties.  The town is divided into two zones, serviced every other week.  Yard waste should be placed on the right-of-way behind the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of the week your zone is scheduled for pick-up.   Please refer to the 2024 Yard Waste Calendar and Map to determine your collection weeks.

Leaf Collection

Leaves are collected the same week as yard waste and should be placed in a separate pile behind the curb, not in the street or gutter where they can obstruct traffic or drainage.  Leaf piles must be free of sticks, rocks, pinecones, limbs, and other debris, which will break the town's vacuum equipment.  Like other yard waste, leaf piles should be placed away from other objects.
